2012年1－3月期（第1四半期）決算で1億3,300万ユーロの純利益を計上し、前年同期の赤字（1,200万ユーロ）から黒字に転換。前年同期のような為替差損が生じなかったことで収益が改善した。ただ、旅客機部門エアバスが超大型機「A380」の主翼部品の欠陥改良に1億5,800万ユーロを投じたことで、利益は予想を下回った。売上高は16％増の114億ユーロ。
