2012年12月通期決算の最終損益は64億7,000万ユーロの赤字となった。ギリシャ子会社エンポリキ銀行の無償譲渡、資産の評価損などで巨額の特別損失を計上したことが響き、赤字は過去最大規模に達した。ただ、特別損失を除くと30億ユーロの黒字となった。
