エネルギー大手の独RWEは今後、石炭発電所の建設を新たに計画しない意向だ。レオンハルト・ビルンバウム取締役（戦略担当）が15日付『ベルリナー・ツァイトゥング』紙に対し明らかにした。石炭発電への風当たりが強く、採算の取れる設備を欧州連合（EU）内に新設できる見通しが立たないためと説明している。
