再保険世界4位の独Hannover Rueckが10日発表した2010年4-6月期（第2四半期）決算の最終利益は1億5,960万ユーロで、前年同期から23.5％減少した。メキシコ湾原油流出事故と5月に東欧で起きた洪水被害が足を強く引っ張った。このほど起きたナイセ川の洪水については保険金支払い額が5月の東欧洪水（推定3,000万ユーロ）を下回るとみている。ロシアの火災とパキスタンの洪水では保険契約額が少ないため、保険金も少額にとどまる見通し。
