自動車部品大手の独Boschは8日、電気自動車（EV）用充電ステーションの設計・建設・保守・運営をシンガポール政府から受注したと発表した。同社が開発したステーションシステムをまずは26カ所に設置する。同システムを利用するとドライバーは使用されていない充電器をインターネットで予約し、待ち時間なしに充電できる。シンガポールの自動車通勤距離は平均55キロメートル（往復）で、1回の充電で十分にカバーできるという。
