肥料大手の独K+Sが化学大手の米Dow Chemicalをニューヨークの裁判所に提訴した。Dow Chemicalから塩メーカーMorton Saltを買収した際の取引価格15億7,600万ドル（約12億ユーロ）が不当に高いことが、K+Sの独自調査で判明したためと説明している。Dow Chemicalに取引価格の引き下げを要求したが、受け入れられなかったため、約2,500万ユーロとその金利を支払うことを求めて裁判を起こした。
