スイスの時計大手Swatchが19日発表した2010年の売上高は前年比19%増の64億ユーロとなり、初めて60億ユーロの大台に乗った。Omega、Breguetなどの高級ブランドが好調で全体が大幅に押し上げられた格好。地域別では中国などのアジアとドイツをはじめとする欧州の主要市場がけん引車となった。純利益も拡大したという。今年1月の売上高は2ケタ成長を維持する見通しで、経営陣は2011年も売上高と利益が増加すると見込んでいる。
