ドイツの残業時間が増えているもようだ。日刊紙『ビルト』が労働市場・職業研究所（IAB）のデータをもとに14日報じたところによると、2010年はのべ12億5,000万時間となり前年から15％増加。経済危機前の08年に記録した同13億7,000万時間を下回っているものの、景気回復を背景に労働時間は着実に増えているとみられる。

IABの統計は企業などが提出したデータに基づいている。データを提出しない企業も多いため、IABは実際の残業時間が少なくとものべ25億時間に達すると推測している。
