水洗金具大手の独Hansgroheは今後3年以内にブラジルに工場を建設する意向だ。現在は関税が高く高価格帯製品しか販売できないため、現地生産に踏み切ることで中価格帯以下の製品も投入。需要を掘り起こしていく。ブラジル人は浴室に独特の好みがあるため、現地生産はニーズに見合った製品開発にもつながるという。同社のジークフリート・ゲンスレン社長が『フランクフルター・アルゲマイネ』紙に明らかにした。
