電機大手のSiemensがDaimlerの電気自動車向けにモーターと付属の制御機器を納入する方向で交渉しているもようだ。2日付『フランクフルター・アルゲマイネ』紙が報じた。同紙に問い合わせに対しDaimlerは「パートナーは未定だ」と回答。Siemensの広報担当者も「複数の自動車メーカーと交渉している。2011年夏からモーターの供給を開始したい」と述べるにとどめた。
