再保険世界3位の独Hannover Rueckは18日、英同業Scotish Reから米国の保険契約を今年1月1日に遡って買い取ると発表した。対象となるのは生命保険、個人年金の分野で2000～03年の4年間に結ばれた契約。今回の取引により、Hannover Rueckの保険料収入は年8,000万ユーロ拡大するという。取引は監督当局の承認などを経て5月に成立する見通し。
