自動車大手General Motors（GM）の独子会社Opelは23日、リュッセルスハイム本社工場とカイザースラオターン部品工場の操業時間を短縮することで労使が合意したと発表した。欧州市場の低迷を受けて稼働率が低下していることに対応。9月初頭から年末までの4カ月間に操業を計20日間、停止する。従業員9,300人が影響を受ける。23日は同社の創業150周年記念日に当たる。
