スイスの特殊化学大手Lonzaは10月31日、今後2年間で従業員数を500人削減すると発表した。価格競争が厳しくなっていることなどに対応する狙い。主な削減対象となる拠点は製薬会社向けの原薬を製造する同国西南部のヴィスプ工場で、400人が整理される。リヒャルト・リーディンガー社長はスイスフラン高とエネルギーコストの上昇も負担になっていると述べ、理解を求めた。
