製薬大手の米Pfizerは7日、独南部のイラーティッセンにある工場を売りに出すと発表した。主要製品の特許失効のほか、ドイツの新たな薬価規制を受けて同国市場の魅力が薄れたことが理由だとしている。同工場では禁煙補助剤を生産、ドイツの従業員（3,200人）の8分の1に当たる400人が勤務している。競合の英AstraZenecaも特許失効と医療制度改革を受けて、ドイツの従業員数を4割削減する。
