ドイツ政府が民間のユーラーヘルメスを通して提供するヘルメス貿易保険の2012年の保険引受額は前年を約10億ユーロ上回る61億ユーロに増加し、これまでで2番目に高い水準となった。対象となったプロジェクトは22カ国の計92件で、自動車、建設分野が多かった。また中国、ロシア、インド、トルコ、インドネシアなどの新興諸国のほか、これまで同保険が適用されるケースの少なかったエクアドル、レバノン、パナマも今年は件数が多かった。
