自動車大手の独Volkswagen（VW）は22日、グループ全体の2014～18年の実物投資額を634億ユーロとし、1年前に打ち出した額より引き下げると発表した。経済の先行き不透明感を受けた措置で、1年当たりの減額幅は約5億ユーロに上る。

予算の減額は建設分野で実施。製品分野では削減しない。14～18年の投資総額は842億ユーロで、研究開発費はそのうちの195億ユーロを占める。
