連邦雇用庁（BA）傘下の労働市場・職業研究所（IAB）は12日、2010年の独失業者数を従来予測の平均410万人から350万人へと大幅に引き下げた。失業者の増加数がこれまで小幅にとどまっているほか、ドイツ経済の成長率も以前の予想よりも高くなる公算が高まったため。社会の高齢化を受け生産年齢人口が減少することもプラスに働くという。
