スウェーデン商用車大手のボルボ は12日、ペルーのリマ（ルリン地区）に新たな事業所を開設した。グループブランドの「ボルボ」「Mack」「UD」「ボルボ・バスズ」「ボルボ・ペンタ・マリーン」および産業用エンジンの販売およびアフターマーケット事業を担当する。新事業所の開設には1,700万米ドルを投資した。サービスエンジニアやドライバー、オペレーターのトレーニングセンターも併設している。
