独自動車大手のフォルクスワーゲン（VW） は1月30日、ドイツのエムデン工場で「パサート」の生産を縮減する計画を明らかにした。地方紙『ボルフスブルガー・アルゲマイネ・ツァイトゥング』の報道を追認したもので、2月の8、15、22日と3月1日の計4日間、操業を停止する。欧州市場の需要低迷を受けた措置で、同モデルは昨年12月にもクリスマス休暇を1週間伸ばす形で生産調整をした。
