ドイツの太陽エネルギー・水素研究センター（ZSW） はこのほど、高性能の燃料電池セルを開発したと発表した。発電効率は1リットル当たり3,500ワット。自動車用に適するとしている。ZSWによると、セパレーター（バイポーラープレート）は炭素と樹脂の複合材料を素材としたものを採用している。セルの重量は約180グラム。ZSWは同セルを4月23～27日までハノーバーで開催される国際産業見本市（ハノーバーメッセ）に出展する。28日付けの独業界誌『ATZ』（電子版）が報じた。
