独自動車大手のダイムラー はこのほど、ハンガリーのケチケメート工場で新型車「CLA」の生産を開始した。同モデルはダイムラーが昨年発表した「コンセプトスタイル・クーペ」をベースに開発した4ドアクーペで、ケチケメート工場のみで生産する。ケチケメート工場は2012年3月に操業を開始、コンパクトカー「Bクラス」を生産している。昨年はBクラスの生産が目標としていた4万台以上を達成した。同工場ではCLAの生産開始に向け従業員数を約2,500人から3,000人強に増員した。
