ロシアの商用車最大手GAZ は10月24日、中型トラックの新モデル「GAZon NEXT」の販売を開始したと発表した。販売価格は105万ルーブルからに設定した。同モデルはGAZの比較可能な従来モデルに比べ積載能力を500キログラム増やした。中東欧諸国やアジア、アフリカ諸国を中心に国外でも販売していく方針を示している。9月19日の量産開始式典にはプーチン大統領も出席した。（1RUB＝2.55JPY）
