独自動車部品大手のボッシュ は近く、中国・湖南省にある長沙工場で小型の低価格車向けにダイナモ電機シリーズの生産を開始する計画だ。同シリーズは3種類の大きさがあり、出力は1.0～1.8kW、回転数6,000回／分の電流は70～125アンペアとなっている。コンパクトで低価格なうえ、耐久性にも優れており、すでにブラジルでは2008年から、インドでは2009年から同シリーズを生産している。中国工場の製品は吉利汽車や第一汽車（FAW）、フォルクスワーゲンなどに供給する。
