バイオ企業のPriaxonは18日、新種のがん治療薬開発で製薬大手のBoehringer Ingelheimと提携したと発表した。化学療法に比べ標的を攻撃する精度が高く、副作用も少ない物質を見つけ出すのが狙い。がんの種類の半数に有効な医薬品を開発するとしている。巨額の資本を要する臨床試験と販売はBoehringerが引き受ける。早ければ10年後にも市場投入したいとしている。
