ポンプ大手の独KSBはこのほど、イタリアのオートメーション化・駆動装置メーカーITACO/REELの過半数資本を取得し傘下に収めた。ITACO/REELはKSBに5年以上前からポンプ駆動装置を供給している。KSBは今回の買収により、省エネ性能の高いポンプ開発を加速し、顧客メーカーのニーズに応えていく意向だ。取引金額は明らかにしていない。
