食品世界最大手のスイスNestleは2日、英国の特殊食品メーカーVitafloを買収すると発表した。Vitafloは代謝疾患患者向けの食料品を専門に生産。昨年は売上高を前年比30％増の4,000万スイスフランに拡大した。Nestleは特別用途食品事業を強化しており、Vitafloは自社の事業戦略に合致していると判断した。取引金額は明らかにしていない。
