電気通信大手のDeutsche Telelomは12日、スペインの競合Telefonicaの独法人Telefonica Germanyと提携すると発表した。Telefonica GermanyがO2ブランドで展開する移動通信事業向けに自社に通信網を第2四半期から部分貸与。これにより多額の資金を投じて構築した自社の光ファイバー通信網の稼働率を引き上げる。Telefonica Germanyは自社通信網の構築コストを省く。
