化学大手Wacker Chemieのルドルフ・シュタウディグル社長は4月27日、太陽電池セルの原料である高純度シリコンの需要が回復したことを明らかにした。第1四半期の販売規模は前年同期比で約50％拡大。工場は現在もフル稼働状態にあり、今後数カ月は旺盛な需要が続くとみている。昨年第4四半期は需要が大きく落ち込んでいた。
