自動車大手の独Daimlerは28日、商用車分野でブラジルに投資する計画を明らかにした。現地市場の成長が今後も続くと予想。新製品の研究開発と生産拠点の近代化に2014、15年の2年間で合わせて約3億ユーロ（約10億レアル）を投じる。同社はブラジルの商用車事業に10～15年の6年間で総額7億5,000万ユーロ（25億レアル）を投資する計画で、今回発表した計画はその一部をなす。
