物流業界団体BVLは23日、独業界の2013年売上高が前年の2,280億ユーロから約2,300億ユーロに増加し、昨年に引き続き過去最高を更新するとの見通しを発表した。景気が好調なほか、キール世界経済研究所（IfW）が作成する独物流業界景況感指数が良好なためで、14年についても1～3％の成長を見込んでいる。
