自動車大手の米General Motors（GM）は10月30日、欧州事業の2013年7-9月期（第3四半期）の営業損失が2億1,400万ドルとなり、前年同期（4億8,700万ドル）の半分以下に縮小したと発表した。コスト削減が奏功した格好。売上高も47億ドルから48億6,000万ユーロに増加した。
