ドイツ連邦雇用庁（BA）が3月29日発表した同月の失業者数は前月より8万2,000人少ない302万8,000人となり、3月としては20年来の低水準を記録した。春の到来を受けて屋外労働の需要が増加。社会の高齢化を背景に人材不足が深刻化していることもプラスに働いた。季節要因を加味した失業者数も1万8,000人減少し、失業率は0.2ポイント減の7.2％へと低下した。求人需要は依然として旺盛で、求人指数BA-Xは前月の175から176へと1ポイント上昇している。
