高級車大手の独BMWは18日、ライプチヒ工場で同社初の電気自動車（EV）「i3」の量産を開始した。発売日は11月16日。すでに1,000台以上の予約受注が入っているという。1日当たりの生産予定台数は明らかにしていない。量産第1号車は29日のベルリン・マラソンで先導車として投入される。
