スイスのエンジニアリング大手ABBは1月22日、2013年10-12月期（第4四半期）の営業利益（EBITDAベース）がパワーシステム（PS）部門の不振で約2億6,000万ドル押し下げられたと発表した。昨年12月の暴風雨の影響で、北海で進める洋上風力発電パークの建設プロジェクトが遅延したことが最大の減益要因となった。最終利益は前年同期の6億400万ドルから約5億2,500万ドルに減少。1株当たり利益（EPS）も前年同期の0.26ドルから0.23ドルに低下した。
