化学世界最大手BASFのユルゲン・ハンプレヒト社長はこのほどニューヨークで開かれた投資家向け会議で、2020年までの10年間で売上高を倍増させる方針を明らかにした。2009年の実績は506億9,000万ユーロで、「900億ユーロ以上に」引き上げるとしている。生産高ベースの市場成長率を少なくとも平均2ポイント以上上回る成長を通して達成する考え。同社長は来年5月に退任する予定で、後任のクルト・ボック財務担当取締役は大きな課題を与えられた格好となった。
