半導体大手の独Infineonは10月28日、電源や電力を制御するパワー半導体事業部門を来年1月1日付で再編すると発表した。市場の発展を踏まえた措置で、駆動装置・再生可能エネルギー分野を対象としたIndustrial Power Control（IPC）部門と、テレビ・パソコン・携帯端末などの民生家電を対象としたPower Management & Multimarket（PMM）部門に分割する。
