11月に倒産した印刷機械大手Manrolandを競合のKoenig & Bauer（KBA）が買収する可能性が出てきた。KBAのクラウス・ボルツァシェーネマン社長は9日、「（買収に）関心があることを管財人に伝えた」ことを明らかにした。現時点で交渉は行っていない。両社は特に新聞用の輪転印刷機分野で競合している。
