ドイツ連邦カルテル庁は15日、ケーブルテレビ大手の米Liberty Globalが独同業Kabel BWを買収する計画を条件付きで承認すると発表した。Liberty Globalは独市場2位のUnitymediaをすでに傘下に抱えており、同3位のKabel BWを取得すると寡占が強まると判断。大口契約先のアパート管理会社に対し特別解約権を認めることなどをLiberty Globalに義務づけた。
