独バイオ最大手のQiagenは25日、米同業Intelligent Bio-Systemsを買収したと発表した。Intelligent Bio-Systemsは遺伝子解析装置を開発しており、Qiagenは買収により分子診断事業を強化する。同社はデータ分析のスピードアップに向けてソフト大手の独SAPと提携したことも明らかにした。
