移動通信大手の英Vodafoneは14日、独ケーブルテレビ（CATV）最大手Kabel Deutschland（KD）への株式公開買い付け（TOB）で最終的に76.57％を確保したと発表した。今後は支配・利益移転契約を結ぶ意向だが、KDを独立会社として存続させる方向。ドイツでの固定通信網事業をKDに全面的に任せ、自らは移動通信サービス事業に専念する。
